"The Triple Revolution" calls for income as a right
A committee of intellectuals sends President Lyndon Johnson a memo on "cybernation": computers and automation would bring almost unlimited productive capacity with less and less human labor. The text calls for an adequate income for every individual and every family "as a matter of right." It is signed by Linus Pauling, Gunnar Myrdal and Bayard Rustin, among others.
