Maricá pays R$230 per person

Maricá's Renda Básica de Cidadania (Citizen's Basic Income), in Rio de Janeiro state, pays 230 mumbucas, the city's local currency, per month to each recipient, covering more than 90,000 people, almost half the city. It is the largest municipal basic income experiment in Brazil.
